Park Bo-young, Joo Won thriller to open in theaters next month

The release date of a Korean thriller starring actress Park Bo-young and actor Joo Won has been set to May 31.

The film's promoter Showbox unleashed several teaser images of Park and Joo Won from the set this morning, giving a sneak peak of the movie titled "Unidentified Video" (translated title).

Raising the fans' anticipation and curiosity for the first local thriller to be announced this year, this will be Park's first film to make her comeback within three years.

In the movie, Park plays Sae-hee who tries to help her sister Jung-mi (Kang Byul) get rid of the curse which could lead to her death since she watched an unidentified video.

Sae-hee later seeks the help of her boyfriend Jun-hyuk (Joo Won), a student who works at the Cyber Criminal Investigative Services.

"Unidentified Video" is director Kim Tae-kyung's third horror movie as a main director after releasing "The Ghost" in 2004 and "Muoi: The Legend of a Portrait" in 2007.
