OMG! Here come the "Blonde" girls

Not even the pink balloons covered with the letters 'OMG' nor the musical number that sweetly rings in one's ears can greet the ladies who have arrived at the entrance of the theatre. It instead is a place where a male student, holding up a small black placard with 'S♡NE' carefully written on it in pink in one hand, and holding up a pink rose bouquet in the other, will welcome them first. This is where the showcase for musical "Legally Blonde", starring member Jessica from idol group Girls' Generation took place.

At 2 p.m. on October 22, everytime a preview was shown for six scenes -- or to be more precise, whenever the audience heard the producer say "Jessica playing the role of Elle Woods" -- the deep roar from the audience only grew louder. Time for Jessica's response -- she lifted up her thumb to fans shouting out her name. The 'older sisters' Kim Do-hyun and Goh Young-bin scream out as if flaunting their loud decibels as their names are mentioned.

The stars on stage do their best at playing their part upon the cheering by fans. Kim Ji-woo charmingly asks the production director for team jumpers since the rehearsing studio is cold and "our pretty Honey Lee and Jessica might catch colds". And Jessica makes the hearts of her fans flutter saying that she would want to work with Super Junior member Kyu-hyun if she could work with another idol singer on a musical. But of course, there is bound to be those who are not stirred by such commotion. Musical actress Jeon Soo-kyung, now 19 years into her career, looks on, enjoying the situation with an unchallenged coolness and the puppy playing 'Bruiser' who quite gently has placed one paw in front of the other, seems quite chic. Whether one be silent or in a frenzy, there is only one conclusion. In a month, it will become a event which will have everyone's heart fluttering. Till then, XOXO.
