Latest releases by top Korean boy band Big Bang and girl group 2NE1 have ranked within the top ten on Japan's Oricon weekly chart.
On Thursday, data on Oricon's official website revealed that Big Bang's "ALIVE,” which went on sale in the country on March 28, sold 52,987 copies to sit at the No. 3 spot on the weekly albums chart.
"ALIVE" contains a total of 10 songs including two newly introduced tracks, "Feeling" and "Ego," as well as the Japanese version of their latest tunes "FANTASTIC BABY," "BLUE" and "BAD BOY" and a bonus track "HARU HARU."
2NE1's record includes their past Japanese releases "I AM THE BEST," "UGLY," "GO AWAY" and the Japanese version of their dance tunes "FIRE" and "I DON'T CARE."
