Korean female idols 2NE1 are gearing up for their comeback to the local music scene after a seven month hiatus through the release of member Park Bom's solo track from their upcoming mini-album.
The official YG Entertainment blog (www.yg-life.com) revealed the upcoming plans for 2NE1 on Monday, announcing that the girls will release their new album, composed of six tracks, starting with Bom's song "PLEASE DON'T GO" on April 21, while stating they will unveil a new track every three weeks and promote all six songs.
The girls will then expand their singing career into the music market in Japan in September, six months later than the original date due to the earthquake and tsunami that hit several cities and towns in Japan on March 11.
Composed of other members CL, Sandara Park and Minzy, 2NE1 made their debut in May 2009. They have released a score of hit songs including "Fire," "I Don't Care" and "Try to Follow Me."
