Koichi Domoto to hold 1st solo concert in Korea in September

J-pop idol Koichi Domoto of duo Kinki Kids will hold his first-ever solo concert in Korea in September, according to show's promoter Mnet.

On Tuesday, Mnet announced that Koichi Domoto, who is currently pursuing solo activities, will hold his first overseas concert in Korea titled "KOICHI DOMOTO 2011 BPM IN SEOUL" at the Olympic Hall in Seoul on September 10.

Ahead of his first show in the country, Koichi Domoto will perform on cable music channel Mnet's "M! CountDown" during the second week of August.

"I am paying close attention to all the details in preparing for my concert," Koichi Domoto was quoted as saying, promising fans the best for his show.

Koichi Domoto made his debut in the entertainment business in 1997 and has expanded his career into various aspects such as an actor, talk show host, singer, singer-songwriter and television personality. He is a member of KinKi Kids alongside Tsuyoshi Domoto.

He has also released single albums including "Deep in your Heart/Million But Love," "No More" and "Ayakashi."
