KBS' weekend series “My Husband Got a Family” has secured another landslide victory on the weekly TV ratings chart.
Starring top Korean talents, Kim Nam-joo and Yoo Jun-sang, the family drama nabbed No. 1 by attracting 40.3 percent of the total viewers during the third week of July, according to data polled by TNmS (Total National Multimedia Statistics) Monday.
Running far behind the chart-topper is KBS’ “Reaching for the Stars,” which reclaimed the second place with an average rating of 24.4 percent.
The runner-up pushed down the former No. 2, SBS' weekend series "Gentleman's Dignity," to the third place but the gap between No.2 and No. 3 was just 0.1 percentage points.
Other programs within the top ten include KBS' 9 O'clock News, SBS' variety show "I Like Sundays," KBS' "Gaksital," MBC's "Infinite Challenge" and SBS' "Ghost."
Meanwhile, AGB Nielson's data compiled between July 16 and 22 showed slightly different orders of ratings.
“My Husband” grabbed the first spot by attracting 34.1 percent and “Gentleman’s Dignity” and “Reaching for the Stars” each ranked at No.2 and No.3 by earning 24.4 and 23.0 percent of the viewers last week.
