"Ojakgyo Brothers" notches 20th win on weekly TV charts

KBS' family series "Ojakgyo Brothers" pulled in its 20th straight win on weekly TV charts during the final week of January.

According to figures by TNmS (Total National Multimedia Statistics) released on Monday, "Ojakgyo," starring Joo Won and UIE, held steady last week with an average viewership rating of 28.6 percent during the week of January 23 to 29.

This week's episode focused on how Ja-eun (UIE) begins to rebel against her father after breaking up with Tae-hee (Joo Won).

MBC's historical drama "The Moon Embracing the Sun" was the second most-watched show in the country with a mean score of 25.9 percent followed by KBS' daily series "My One and Only" in third place with an average rating of 20.1 percent.

Meanwhile, AGB Nielsen Media's weekly chart showed that the No. 1 show in the country was "Moon" which raked ratings of 30.7 percent.

KBS' show "Ojakgyo" remained in second place on AGB's poll with ratings of 30.6 percent and MBC's weekend series "Love Cheer" wrapped up its seven-month run in third place with ratings of 23.3 percent.
