f(x) set to make comeback to music scene in May

Korean idols f(x) will be returning to the local music scene with their first mini-album next month, according to their agency on Tuesday.

SM Entertainment announced in a press release that the girls will make a comeback on May 4, along with unveiling teaser photographs of members Sulli and Amber donning their new styles for the upcoming album.

"They will return with stronger yet more sweet and feminine looks, adding onto their former cute and playful image," the statement said.

The five-member girl group, also composed of members Victoria, Luna and Krystal, made their debut in 2009 with their single album "LA chA Ta," as well as releasing songs including "Chu~♡" and "Chocolate Love."

They have also performed in other countries including in France for the MIDEM showcase, in Thailand to promote themselves at the "2010 Pattaya International Music Festival and several cities in Japan.
