Big Bang unstoppable force on Gaon’s singles chart

K-pop boy band Big Bang swept the top spots on Gaon’s singles chart once again during the third week of March.

Continuing their winning streak from last week, Big Bang held strong onto the top four spots with four of their six title tracks, “BLUE,” “BAD BOY,” “FANTASTIC BABY” AND “LOVE DUST” in order, between March 4 to10, according to Gaon’s official website on Thursday.

Based on the charts’ record, “BLUE,” which was the first song to be unveiled among all seven tracks from their mini-album released on February 22, grabbed the No. 1 spot for its third consecutive win.

Their other title tracks “NO FUN” came in at No. 8 and member Daesung’s solo track “WINGS” bowed at No. 10 spot.

Meanwhile, Ailee, a new Korean chanteuse who released her debut single album “Heaven” on February 9, nabbed the fifth place with her single of the same name.

Also on Gaon's album chart, Big Bang’s fifth mini-album “ALIVE” stood strong atop the chart for the three straight week, while last week’s runner-up Jay Park’s “NEW BREED” fell 39 spots to No. 41 and TONY&SMASH's single album "Get your Swag On" made its debut at No. 2 on the list.

In addition, BLOCK B’s “Welcome To The BLOCK,” which was released on February 2, climbed up nine spots to come in third place.
