BoA to make long-awaited comeback in Japan

Korean songstress BoA has confirmed that she will be making her long-awaited comeback to the music scene in Japan, according to her official Twitter account.

On October 2, BoA posted a comment saying, "Many ppl asking me when I'm gonna release my next single in Japan... I'm preparing my single now.. So you'll be able to listen to it soon!"

The singer then followed it up with the news that she was heading to Japan to shoot her new music video while adding that she will hold her annual Christmas concert in the country as well.

"Forgot to mention this.. We confirmed 2011 Christmas concert (2011 BoA the live X-mas) in Tokyo for two days. December 10,11!! can't wait!!"

BoA's last release in Japan was "I SEE ME" in December of last year which was also used for a commercial in Japan.

She has since released her sixth album in Korea and made her Hollywood film debut in “COBU 3D” opposite former “Dancing with the Stars” champion Derek Hough.

Known as the first Korean artist to make a major breakthrough in the Japanese music industry, BoA has placed numerous singles atop the prestigious Oricon charts while having released several albums in the country.
