"Bread" continues to bake up high ratings for 7th win

KBS TV series "Bread, Love and Dreams" continued to bake up high ratings on weekly TV charts, remaining on the No. 1 spot for the seventh consecutive week.

Figures from TNmS (Total National Multimedia Statistics) and AGB Nielsen Media Research indicated that the most-watched show in the country scored viewership ratings of 44.8 percent and 42.4 percent, respectively, during the week of August 2 to 8.

"Bread," about the success story of baker Kim Tak-koo, has also held onto the lead on Wednesday and Thursday nights as well with viewership ratings in the mid-40 percent range.

Meanwhile, KBS' variety program "Happy Sunday" shot up to second place with ratings of 24.9 percent on TNmS' poll and 23.5 percent on AGB's survey.

Both charts revealed that the No. 3 show in the country was KBS' weekend family drama "All About Marriage" with its average rating in the 23-percent range.
