Korean idols Yoon Du-jun of BEAST, Hwang Kwang-hee of ZE:A and Son Na-eun of A PINK have been cast in an upcoming movie, making it their first big screen role for the three singers.
The film's production company, Lotte Entertainment, said in a press release Monday that Yoon, Hwang and Son will join actresses Kim Min-jung and Yu Min in the fifth installment of comedy "Marrying the Mafia," "Return of the Noble Family" (translated title).
Yoon made his debut as the leader of the six-member boy band BEAST in 2009. He expanded his career into acting with roles in MBC's "More Charming by the Day" (2010) and recently in MBC's sitcom "All My Love." Currently, BEAST is promoting their fifth mini-album "Midnight Sun."
Hwang is known as one of the comic members of his group ZE:A, which stands for Children of Empire, in January 2010. He has starred in MBN's "Vampire Idol" and in all two seasons of SBS' reality program "Laws of the Jungle" starting last year.
Son made her debut as part of the seven-member girl group A PINK with their single "Seven Springs of A PINK" in 2011. She will soon appear in SBS' historical series "Daepungsoo" (Romanized Korean) set to air in October.
