American fusion rock band The Aristocrats is headed to Korea for a concert in the country next month, notified the show’s promoter and host Music Force on Thursday.
According to a press release by Music Force, the male band composed of guitarist Guthrie Govan, bassist Bryan Beller and drummer Marco Minnemann is set for a live performance at the V-Hall of Hongdae District in Seoul on July 19 and 20.
He was selected the “Guitarist of the Year” by the prestigious music magazine “Guitarist” in 1993 and also appeared on the cover of the July 2008 edition of another well known guitar magazine named “Guitar Player.” He performed on Korea's EBS channel’s SPACE GONGGAM last year.
Beller, a famed bassist, too has participated in various music projects with world-renowned artists such as Mike Keneally, Steve Vai, Dethklok and James LaBrie in American progressive metal band Dream Theater as well as working with Chris Wolstenhome, the bassist of English rock band Muse, whose group won this year’s Grammy for best rock album.
The group is currently on a world tour which they kicked off in time with the release of their first album this year.
