New releases by K-pop stars TVXQ, FTIsland, T-ara and 2PM have placed within the top ten slots of Japan’s prestigious Oricon daily chart, according to its official website on Thursday.

Oricon’s daily singles chart revealed that TVXQ's new Japanese single "Winter Rose" took second place on the chart after selling 76,615 copies since its release yesterday.
Also, FTIsland's sixth Japanese single "Distance," produced in three editions, entered the daily chart in fourth place and girl group T-ara's second Japanese single "YAYAYA" made its debut at No. 7.

Meanwhile, Oricon's daily album chart showed that 2PM ranked at No. 2 for moving 25,756 copies of their first full-length Japanese album "Republic of 2PM" which went on sale in the country on November 30.

TVXQ, composed of Max Changmin and U-Know Yunho, will embark on a three month long nationwide tour in Japan where they will hold a total of 14 shows in nine cities including Yokohama, Nagoya, Fukuoka, Niigata, Sapporo, Fukui, Osaka and Tokyo.
Composed of members Lee Hong-ki, Song Seung-hyun, Choi Min-han, Lee Jea-jin and Choi Jong-hoon, FTIsland is gearing up for their two-day concert titled "FTISLAND X'mas Live 2011 ~ Winter's Night ~" at the Yokohama Arena in Yokohama on December 23 and 24.

T-ara, composed of members Hyomin, Boram, Eunjung, Jiyeon, Soyeon, Qri and Hwa-young, made their debut in July 2009. The girls will hold a series of concert starting with their first show at Tokyo's Shinagawa Stella Ball on December 20, Nagoya's Zepp Nagoya the following day and Osaka's Zepp Osaka on December 22.

2PM has been one of the most popular boy bands in Korea and several other countries in Asia since their debut in 2008. The boys will hold their first arena tour in Japan which will kick off in Osaka on December 5 followed by shows in Nippon, Tokyo and Fukuoka.
