Korean actor Kim Myung-min has just finished shooting a new comedy film in which he plays the male lead as a secret agent from North Korea, according to Lotte Entertainment's press release Monday.
The firm's officials said that Kim finished shooting his new film "Spy" last Thursday and the movie will go into post-production soon.
"I felt extremely drawn to the movie right after I read the scenario and I still can't believe we've finished shooting it," Kim was quoted as saying.
"Spy" goes around the story of a family man (Kim) who lives an ordinary life with a wife and two children. The truth behind what appears to be a typical four-member family unit is his real identity of a secret agent. Disguising himself as a manager of a pharmaceutical company, he earns a living by selling fake viagra imported from China.
Meanwhile, the "Pace Maker" is currently promoting his drama-thriller "Deranged." The movie has spent the last two consecutive weeks atop the local box office, beating out Hollywood animation "The Amazing Spider-Man" and Korean horror flick "Two Moon."
