Lee Seung-gi to make comeback with new album this month
Korean singer Lee Seung-gi will return to the local music scene with a new full-length album this month, his first studio release in two years.
Lee uploaded a video onto his official website today saying, "I am currently on the set of shooting the album cover for my fifth full-length album which will go on sale in mid-October."
"I had the pleasure of working with some of the best producers for the tracks for my new album...... I will also hold a concert in December where I will sing the songs from my upcoming album."
In the meantime, his agency Hook Entertainment told 10Asia over the phone that they have released a short teaser video of the song "Love Time" today.
"The song 'Love Time' will sing about how individuals in their twenties dream of being in a relationship," an official from Hook said.
"And his co-star Han Hyo-joo from 'Shining Inheritance' took part in the narration for the song while Lee composed, arranged and rapped for the tracks in the upcoming album."
Lee made his debut as a singer after being discovered and trained by veteran vocalist Lee Sun-hee and released his debut album "The Dream of a Moth" in 2004 which featured his hit songs "Because You're My Girl," which gave a major boost to his popularity and made him an overnight sensation.
He then expanded his career into acting with a role in MBC's sitcom "Nonstop 5" in 2005 and became a household name in Korea after starring in "The Infamous Chill Sisters" and rose to fame throughout Asia last year through hit SBS series "Shining Inheritance."
