Actress Kang Sora and boy band 2AM member Jeong Jin-woon are being considered for major roles in the new season of TV series "Dream High."
On Wednesday, an official with Holym Co., a drama production company set up through the joint investment of agencies KEYEAST and JYP Entertainment, told 10Asia, "It is true that they are strong candidates but we are still in discussions."
"Dream High," which told about students who attend a performing arts school aimed at cultivating celebrities, ran for two months early this year and starred Korean actor Kim Soo-hyun, idol singers Bae Suzy from girl group miss A, Ham Eun-jung from T-ara, Ok Taecyeon and Jang Wooyoung from boy band 2PM and songstress IU.
It brought in steady viewership ratings in the 18 to 20 percent range and recently won the Special Award for Foreign Drama at the 5th International Drama Festival in Tokyo.
