Singer-actor Park Yuchun will narrate a TV documentary for the first time, revealed public broadcaster MBC on Wednesday.
According to a report by MBC's online news, Park will do the narration for MBC’s special documentary “Home Sweet Home“ which talks about the environment crisis faced by various parts of suburban regions in Korea due to reckless developing.
The upcoming documentary, set to go on air at Friday night, will visit Guman-ri in Hongcheon County of the Gangwon Province where the locals have been rallying against the construction of a golf course for the past six years, Gulup Island in the West Sea, also in danger from a new golf course and other entertainment facilities ready to take up 98 percent of its space and Geumgang Village in Yeongju City of the North Gyeongsang Province which will go under water once the ongoing construction of the giant dam is completed.
Park, 25, is a member to group JYJ, formed of other members Jaejoong and Junsu, who all made their debut in 2004 as part of popular boy band TVXQ, but later broke off from it despite their phenomenal success in Asia, after becoming involved in a legal dispute with the their agency SM Entertainment.
Separately, Yuchun also debuted as an actor last year, starring in a fusion historical series titled “SungKyunKwan Scandal” alongside other main cast members Park Min-young, Yoo A-in and Song Joong-ki.
He is currently shooting his second drama “Miss Ripley” in which he co-stars with Lee Dae-hae, Kim Seung-woo and Kang Hye-jung.
