KBS drama “Smile Again” has remained the nation’s most watched show for the eighth week while coming close to breaching an average viewership rating of 40 percent, according to data by two media research companies on Monday.

“Smile Again” came out the first on TV charts again after marking an average viewership rating of 39.6 percent and 39 percent, respectively, as shown by the results from Total National Multimedia Statistics’ (TNmS) and AGB Nielsen Media Research’s (AGB) polls.
In last week’s episodes, Sae-wa (Park Jung-a) gets caught trying to ruin a kimchi business helmed by Dong-hae (Ji Chang-wook) and Lee Bong-I’s (Oh Ji-eun) family. The chairman of Hotel Camellia, outraged, makes her apologize to Dong-hae in person, alongside her husband and mother-in-law.

TNmS' chart also revealed that KBS’ weekend primetime drama “My Love My Family” went up a notch from third to second spot on its latest chart after scoring an average viewership rating of 22.5 percent, followed by KBS 9 o’clock News that yielded an average rating of 20.7 percent.

AGB’s survey however, placed MBC drama “Flames of Desire” at No. 2 on its list with an average viewership rating of 24 percent and “My Love My Family” at No. 3 with an average viewership of 23.3 percent.
In the latest episode for “My Love My Family,” Woo-jin (Lee Pil-mo) indirectly expresses his feelings for Yoon-hee (Hwangwoo Seul-hye), his cousin sister who happens to be unrelated in blood to him.

Weekend drama “Flames of Desires,” about a story of one woman’s rise to become the mistress of Daesoyang conglomerate Group aired its final episode yesterday in which her husband gives up the successor’s seat in order to make his wife stay with him. The drama ends with her family regaining somewhat of its old peace and normalcy.

Meanwhile other shows that made within the top 10 list of the two charts for last week included variety show “Happy Sunday,” “Gag Concert,” and “Infinite Challenge,” reality singing competition “MBC Star Audition,” mini-documentary “Amazing People Caught on Camera” and dramas “Happy Maker Soon-jung” and “The Duo.”
