Kim Yu-shin has zero versatility

A look into Uhm Tae-woong's character in TV series "Queen Seon-deok"

He is so strong that he'll chop into even the stump wood where the piece of wood he originally meant to cut was placed upon and will split apart large rocks with his wooden sword. The only times he shows some flexibility is when he gets lost, being one with a bad sense of direction, and will pretend to be making a stop to get a drink of water. However, when Mi-shil asks him to take her side, he will tell her up front, "You can take my body after you kill me. I will not go alive. I am sorry but I am so foolish that I do not understand anything except threats." If he lived in recent times, he may have been jobless or not been able to get married even when he reaches his 40s with such a personality. And being the tactless man he is, he will not realize that Chun-myung likes him and speak of his love for Duk-man, saying he wants to protect and look after her. And to Duk-man herself he will make the most unbecoming and embarrassing confession, asking her not to change and just stay who she is. But the two, both with extremely dull personalities, go together like peas in a pod. Regardless, Kim is one who will strive forward for his nation and his people but somehow make viewers feel sorry to see the him lack in versatility.
