Boy band INFINITE's member L and ZE:A's member Hwang Kwang-hee have confirmed to appear in a TV series starring SHINee's Minho and f(x)'s Sulli.
Both L and Hwang's agency told 10Asia over the phone on Friday that the two idols will star alongside Minho and Sulli in "Beautiful You" (translated title), which is scheduled to begin shooting next week.
In "Beautiful You," Minho will take on the role of a gold-medal-winning pole jumper named Kang Tae-joon and Sulli will play Goo Jae-hee, who disguises herself as a boy to help Kang revive his career.
Directed by Jeon Gi-sang of KBS' "Boys Over Flowers" and scenarist Lee Young-chul, "Beautiful You" is based on the popular Japanese comic book “Hanazakari no Kimitachi e (Hana Kimi)."
L, who made his debut as one of the main vocalist in seven-member boy band INFINITE in 2010, has also starred in the Japanese TV series "Jiu: Keishichou Tokushuhan Sousakei" in 2011 and in tvN's "Shut Up and Let's Go" earlier this year.
Hwang made his debut in the nine-member group ZE:A, which stands for Children of Empire, in January 2010. He has starred in MBN's "Vampire Idol" and in SBS' variety program "Laws of the Jungle" last year.
