Super Junior's Ryeowook and INFINITE's Sung-kyu have joined the cast of a singing competition program on KBS.
According to an official from KBS, Ryeowook and Sung-kyu will sing their renditions of legendary Korean singers' songs on KBS' "Immortal Song 2," as songstress Ali, Brown Eyed Soul's Sung-hoon and rock group No Brain left the stage as regulars.
As Ryeowook and Sung-kyu are set to join the highly competitive audition of some of top-tier singers here, the two will be presenting modern remakes of old songs sang by popular artists, along with the remaining cast -- Im Tae-kyung, Hong Kyung-min and Ailee.
Ryeowook, who debuted as a member of a boy band Super Junior in 2008, became well known with his group's hit songs “Sorry Sorry” and “BONAMANA.”
He proved his vocal skills by participating in a number of soundtracks of TV series and playing in the musical "Temptation of Wolves."
Sung-kyu is the leader of seven-member boy band INFINITE who made their debut in 2010, known for the group's hit songs "Come Back Again," "Before the Dawn (BTD)," "She's Back," "Nothing's Over," "Be Mine" and “Paradise.”
The group recently made their comeback to the local music scene with the third mini-album “INFINITIZE."
