Boy band MBLAQ released their first full-length album “BLAQ Style” today, according to their agency J.Tune Entertainment.
According to J.Tune’s press release on Monday, the new album which comes a year and two months after the group’s debut, contains 13 songs including title tracks “Cry,” a ballad song which expresses the pain of separation.
Several noted composers in the K-pop scene worked on the latest album including singer and song writer Rado who composed BEAST’s hit song “Soom,” JR Groove who composed MBLAQ’s “Y” and singer Rain’s “Hip Song,” Lee Jae-myung who composed Girls’ Generation’s “Kissing You” and Super Junior’s “Marry U” and even singer Rain, the creator and teacher of MBLAQ who bestowed the group with track “Darling.”
The members of MBLAQ composed and wrote songs for the album as well, from leader Seung-ho who composed and played the piano for “Sad Memories,” down to youngest member Mir who made a rap song out of his message for the group’s fans through the piece “‘You’re my +.”
