Top Korean boy band Big Bang will release a special edition album next month, according to their agency YG Entertainment.
On Monday, YG announced in a press release that the Big Bang will unveil their special edition album on April 8 from which they will promote two title tracks titled "Love Song" and "Stupid Liar" which were first revealed during their annual "2011 BIG SHOW" last month.
Over the weekend, the official YG blog (www.yg-life.com) revealed a teaser image with the phrase "I HATE THIS LOVE SONG!" which raised anticipation and curiosity amongst fans.
The boys, who will promote the new album for three weeks, are scheduled to give their first performance for the new songs on April 10 on SBS' televised music show "Inkigayo."
The group successfully crossed over into the music market in Japan during the summer of 2009 with their debut single "My Heaven" and toured the country attracting a total of 60,000 fans. After promoting their latest release in Korea, the boys will embark on a concert tour titled "Love & Pain Tour" in Japan starting in May.
They recently enjoyed a successful return to the local music scene with title track "TONIGHT" and other songs from their fourth mini-album, topping various online and offline charts since its release in mid-February.
