Korean male idol group CNBLUE’s new single “RE-MAINTENANCE” has debuted in second place on Japan's prestigious Oricon daily chart.
Oricon's website showed Monday that the rock band's third Japanese single album “RE-MAINTENANCE” took the No. 2 spot on the daily chart in just a day of going on sale on January 9.
“RE-MAINTENANCE” contains four songs written and composed by CNBLUE's members themselves: the title track “Try Again Smile Again,” “Don’t Say Good Bye,” “Kimio” and the instrumental version of “Try Again Smile Again."
Meanwhile, CNBLUE is currently on a four-city concert tour in Japan known as the “Zepp Tour” covering cities of Fukuoka on January 11, Nagoya on January 13 and Tokyo on January 16. They wrapped up their first concert in Osaka on Sunday.
The group has led a successful music career overseas as well, going double platinum in Taiwan and seeing sold-out shows while on tour in Asia last year in countries including Singapore, Hong Kong, Thailand and China.
