Korean singer Kim Hyung-jun will hit the road soon for his second nationwide concert tour in Japan.
S-Plus Entertainment announced in a press release Tuesday that Kim will kick off his month-long tour, dubbed "KIMHYUNGJUN 2012 2nd Story in Japan," from August 3 to 26.
Additionally, Kim will promote the Japanese release of his second mini-album "ESCAPE," which will hit stores in the country on August 8.
"We have received some favorable reactions from Japanese fans and local officials for Kim's forthcoming tour and the new album. This will be a great opportunity for Kim to establish his foothold as a solo artist and expand his fan base there," an official from the concert's hosting company SWAVE E&T was quoted as saying.
Under the guidance of his new agency, Kim released the first solo mini-album "My Girl" in March 2011 and starred in KBS' cable channel KBS-N's "She's Completely Insane!" in January.
He added more to his acting resume by starring in the TV version of "Late Blossom" on SBS Plus this year.
As a singer, Kim recently made his comeback to the local music scene with the release of his second solo album "ESCAPE" in early July.
