KBS’ series “The Innocent Man” has continued its winning streak on the Wednesday and Thursday primetime ratings chart, edging out Park Yuchun’s new MBC series.
The classic melodrama crowned for seventh week in a row with an average rating of 17.5 percent, data polled by TNmS [Total National Multimedia Statistics] between November 7 and 8 showed Friday.
Next on the chart was SBS' period drama “The Great Seer,” which sat at No. 2 after earning an average 9.3 percent of the total viewers in the same time frame.
Although the chronicle play finally began to tell its real king-making tale after a month of warm up, it was not enough to satisfy the viewers yet.
MBC officials said child actors Yeo Jin-gu and Kim So-hyun, who are depicting the childhood of the main characters, will appear on the screen till next week.
Meanwhile, AGB Nielson Media Research's data showed the same order with slightly different figures from the TNmS’ during the same time frame.
While “The Innocent Man” grabbed top seed with an average 17.2 percent, “The Great Seer” and "Missing You" followed next with 8.6 and 6.9, respectively.
