Super Junior's Donghae has said that he hopes to one day bake cakes for his fellow group mates though he only knows the basics of baking.
At the press conference held in Seoul on Thursday for Channel A’s new weekend series “Miss Panda, Mr. Hedgehog,” the idol star made the remark in front of local reporters when asked about his baking skills.
"After shooting several episodes for the show, I would like to learn more about baking so it can become my hobby. (laugh) And maybe someday when I'm a good baker, I can make cakes for my fellow members," Donghae said with a smile.
In “Miss Panda, Mr. Hedgehog,” Donghae’s character Go is an orphan that later becomes a renowned patissier who has tender heart but is known for his cold persona. He learned how to bake under the under the guidance of Park Byung-moo (veteran actor Park Geun-hyung).
On his own, he meets Pan Da-yang (Yoon Seung-a), who is the owner of Panda Cafe, where Go begins to work at.
He smiled and added, “You just have to bake the bread and just decorate it nicely with frosting and sweets. It takes a lot of time and effort in making a cake......that is when I realized, I’m better off in just buying cakes from bakeries.”
Also starring Choi Jin-hyuk and Yoo So-young, "Miss Panda, Mr. Hedgehog" will air every Saturday and Sunday nights on Channel A starting August 18.
