SBS series “Phantom" has gone head-to-head again against KBS’ “Gaksital.”
“Gaksital" registered a narrow victory on this week’s Wednesday and Thursday’s primetime ratings figure after attracting 15.3 percent of the total audience, according to TNmS (Total National Multimedia Statistics) announced Friday.
With a thin margin, So Ji-sub and Lee Yeon-hee’s “Phantom” grabbed the second spot in the fourth week of June.
Powered by the show’s big name stars, the cyber crime TV series saw an increase of two percentage points from the previous week and logged 13.4 percent in ratings.
With its strategy of targeting women by capturing women’s desire for shoes and career, the show kicked off with an average rating of 12.5 percent for the first two episodes.
However, the number has been falling a week after another until this week when “I Do I Do” finally had a rise of 0.4 percentage points.
Over on the AGB Nielson Media Research’s chart, “Gaksital” grabbed the top seed with 15.5 percent rating, followed by “Phantom” and “I Do I Do” each pulling in 11 and 9.4 percent of the viewers in the same time frame.
