Korean songstress Baek Ji-young's latest song "Voice" made its way to the top spot on Gaon's singles chart last week.
According to data released on Gaon's official website on Thursday, Baek's new ballad "Voice," featuring the rap by LeSSang's Gary, was the most popular song between May 6 and 12.
Making her comeback to the music scene in three years with the new album "GOOD BOY," Baek's new release includes the chart-topping song and the title track of the same name, featuring BEAST's Yong Jun-hyung.
Placing in the second was K-pop starlet IU's tune "Peach," which jumped up three spots from the previous week.
Due to the two songstress' sudden rise on the chart, Girls' Generation-TTS' "TWINKLE" slid down to the third place.
Indie trio Busker Busker's self-titled first studio release followed next, while Shinhwa's tenth album, "The Return," shot up 12 places to sit at No. 3.
