Actress Song Ji-hyo's plan to kidnap idol star Kim Jae-joong is gaining some international attention even before its release in local theaters next week.
"The Jackal is Coming" has been sold to six Asian countries, Japan, Singapore, Thailand, Indonesia, Malaysia and Brunei, according to the film's distributor Lotte Entertainment.
Song and Kim's comedy kidnap movie goes around a story of a mysterious female killer kidnapping a top idol star. She comes up with different methods to murder the celebrity.
Kim's screen debut film will open in Korea on November 15.
