Actress Kim Ha-neul celebrates birthday with fans

Korean actress Kim Ha-neul celebrated her birthday over the weekend, attending a fan meeting thrown by her local and international fans.

Her agency J. One Plus Entertainment announced in a press today that Kim met with fans from Korea and Japan in Seoul, Korea yesterday to celebrate her 33rd birthday today in advance.

Kim's fans held various events for the celebration such as a talent show, a performance of Kim Ha-neul's "A Star in the Night Sky 3" on the recorder and a serenade from her male fans, while the actress also performed two songs "Three Things I Want to Give To You" by songstress Park Hye-kyung and "First Love" by Lee Sora.

The birthday celebration ended with Kim presenting her special album to each fan as well as holding an autograph session.

"Kim was moved and touched by the birthday party that her fans have thrown for her," an official from J. One was quoted as saying. "She has been really busy shooting her movie and was happy to see that the love and support from her fans have not changed."

Kim has enjoyed steady popularity in Korea since her debut in 1996. She has starred in numerous hit TV dramas and movies, including SBS TV series "On Air" and MBC’s “Road No. 1” and films "My Tutor Friend" and "My Girlfriend is an Agent."

She is currently busy filming the thriller titled "Blind" alongside Korean actor Yoo Seung-ho. The movie is scheduled to open in local theaters in summer of 2011.
