Male ballad group Brown Eyed Soul's “If It Were Same,” came out atop Gaon's weekly singles chart between November 28 to December 4.
The new winner of the chart, the title track to the group's third album “BROWNEYED SOUL” which pleads one's lover to come back, climbed up two steps from the previous week to place first on the chart.
Songstress Baek Ji-young’s “That Woman” from “Secret Garden Soundtrack Pt. 1," expressing the desperation of one-sided love, maintained its previous position at No. 2 on the chart.
Third-comer was “Reason,” singing of the overwhelming feeling of falling in love, from "Secret Garden Soundtrack Pt. 3" sung by Sin Yong-jae who is a member to male ballad group 4Men.
S.M. The Ballad, SM Entertainment's new ballad group which debuted in late November, is composed of Super Junior’s member Kyuhun, TRAX’s Jay, SHINee’s Jonghyun and a brand new singer Jino.
Coming in second was seven-member girl group T-ara’s EP album “Vol.2 Temptastic” released on the first of December, the record containing funky dance numbers such as “YAYAYA” “Ma boo” and “Why Are You Like That.”
Male rock band CNBLUE’s first mini-album “Bluestory” climbed up a whopping 42 steps to land at No.3 on the album's chart. The album released in mid-January of this year has been enjoying long lasting popularity with tracks including “I’m A Loner,” “Y, Why..” and “Now or Never.”
