Jang Woo-hyuk sets up official fan club in China
Korean singer Jang Woo-hyuk launched his official fan club in China over the weekend, according to his agency WH Entertainment on Tuesday.
WH announced in a press release that Jang, who recently opened his official webpage in Korea, has set up an official fan club in Nanjing, China last month.
He held a special event to celebrate the founding of his fan club, meeting with fans for a dance and drawing contest and hand-shaking session.
The singer also read a heartfelt letter to his fans to express his appreciation saying, "I am proud that the name H.O.T is recognized in a country other than Korea and I am extremely moved by the many faces that came to greet me at the Beijing Airport even though I have been away for four years."

Jang, 32, began his career in 1996 in the now-disbanded idol group H.O.T which was one of the hottest bands during the 1990s.
He started his solo career in 2005 and visited China on several occasions to expand his activities in the country after completing his mandatory two-year military service late last year.
