Girls' Generation to give encore concert next month

Korean pop group Girls' Generation is set to hold their second concert in Seoul next month, according to a press release by SM Entertainment on Tuesday.

The girl group, who gave their first concert last month, will perform at the Olympic Park Fencing Stadium on February 27 and 28 as an encore gig of their "1st ASIA TOUR CONCERT - Into the new world". They will then add fuel to their Asia tour, starting with performing in Shanghai in April.

Girls' Generation, one of the most popular groups in Korea, enjoyed a huge success last year with their hit singles "Gee" and "Tell Me Your Wish". The group also won a total of six awards at the 2009 Melon Music Awards and the 24th Golden Disk Awards.

Tickets for the Seoul concert will be available on G-market website (http://www.gmarket.co.kr) starting January 21, 8 p.m.

The concert will also feature a happily family zone so that the audience can come and enjoy the concert as a family unit. Tickets for the family zone will be available from January 18, 10 a.m. via phone reservations (02-323-8500).
