Se7en expanding singing career into Asia
Korean singer Se7en is expanding his career into various countries in Asia, according to his agency YG Entertainment on Friday.
"He was in Thailand, Bangkok and China last week to take part in various promotional events for his album 'Digital Bounce' as well as holding fan meetings and interviews with the local media," a PR official from YG Entertainment told 10Asia over the phone.
She went to say that Se7en will be busy visiting other countries in Asia such as Singapore and Malaysia next week for further promotion.
Se7en, whose real name is Choi Dong-wook, trained under YG Entertainment for four years before making his debut in 2003 with the album "Just Listen." He became popular throughout Asia, releasing four full-length albums in Korea and seven singles in Japan.
In 2006, he went over to the U.S. to break into the global music scene and started collaborating with noted record producers such as Rodney "Darkchild" Jerkins.
He returned to the local music scene in July last year with his album "Digital Bounce" and promoted the title track "Better Together" which topped various online and offline music charts.

The singer also opened a steamed chicken restaurant named Yeolbong in September of last year and then expanded his business with a second store in mid-February.
