Actor Lee Byung-hun iPhone 4 case to be launched

BH Entertainment announced through a press release today that it will produce cases for Apple's iPhone 4 products featuring top Korean actor Lee Byung-hun.

According to the press release, the agency’s premium star shop brand “BH Style,” opened in collaboration with a well-known design firm, plans to release a total of 10 phone cases designed after Lee.

BH explained that Lee is the first celebrity in the agency to have a product made after him since he was the winner of last year's Style Icon Award, an annual style-related awards ceremony hosted by cable fashion network OnStyle.

The iPhone 4 cases will be available through diverse routes, starting with the BH Style Shop at Incheon International Airport, then at Shinsegae Department Store, N-Tower of Namsan, KT's branches and online shopping mall Interpark.

Part of the profits made from sales of the product will be donated to UNICEF's global project rescuing children worldwide -- Lee has been a goodwill ambassador of UNICEF for the past six years.

More products, including smart phone accessories, traveling goods and calenders, related to Lee and other celebrities at BH will be released at later dates.

Lee, 40, made his name known throughout Asia with his numerous roles in dramas and movies. He made his Hollywood debut in 2009 with his role as Storm Shadow in film “G. I. Joe: The Rise of Cobra.”

He has won many awards throughout his career, including "Best Actor in Asia" at the Tokyo Drama Awards 2010 held at the Meiji Memorial Hall in late October.
