MBC TV series "Queen Seon-deok" continued to remain the most-watched show in Korea last week although its ratings have recently taken a dip since the exit of actress Ko Hyun-joung.

According to statistics released by TNS Media Korea on Monday, "Seon-deok" topped the weekly TV ratings chart during the week of December 7 to 13 with a 37.1 percent viewership rating.

The historical drama has been dominating the small screen since its premiere in late May, topping the weekly chart almost every week and peaking at a viewership rating of 44.7 percent. But figures have been declining slightly since the departure of character Mi-shil, played by Ko, from the show three weeks ago.

KBS2 TV's blockbuster drama "Iris" followed close behind with a 36.5 percent rating, the highest the show has scored to date. Daily soap "Jolly Widows" came in third at 30.9 percent.

In the non-drama category, KBS's "Happy Sunday" topped the chart with a 24.9 percent viewership rating. MBC's sitcom "High Kick Through The Roof" and KBS2 TV's "Gag Concert" trailed behind with ratings of 21.7 and 19.4 percent, respectively.
