Famed New Age pianist Steve Barakatt will perform in Korea this week, according to organizer of his concert on Tuesday.

The Canadian-born artist will play for his Korean fans at his concert titled "Sweet November" over a series of two shows on Saturday, Credia said in a press release.

Barakatt is set to perform newly-composed songs as well as the tunes he is well-known in Korea for, including "Rainbow Bridge" and "The Whistler's Song", which have appeared in numerous television commercials, movies and radio background music, explained Credia.

The 36-year-old artist, who is also a goodwill ambassador for the United Nations Children's Fund (UNICEF), composed the anthem celebrating the 20th anniversary of "The Convention of the Rights of a Child" which was premiered last week in Seoul on the International Day of the Child.

Barakatt's concert will be held at 3 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. at the Sejong Center for the Performing Arts on November 28.
