Rain posts pictures from set of upcoming movie on Twitter

Asian superstar Rain has uploaded several pictures from the set of his upcoming action movie on his official Twitter account.

In the photographs posted on Wednesday, a fighter pilot suit-clad Rain is seen posing on top of a step ladder next to an aircraft while another shows the singer-actor next to his co-star from the movie "Red Muffler" with a comment underneath saying, "I've been having so much fun shooting the film lately!! Those words don’t express it but I feel that this will be the best air combat movie...^^ I'm getting all excited!! Let me introduce to you the F15K called 'Red Muffler.'"

He went onto say that he will keep posting up more pictures from the set when he has time.

Rain has been cast to play the male lead alongside actress Sin Se-gyeong and actors Kim Sung-soo and Lee Jong-suk in "Red Muffler," a remake of the Korean movie of the same name from 1964, which tells the story of life and comradeship of fighter pilots.

Rain, whose real name is Jung Ji-hoon, has been considered one of biggest stars in Korea and throughout Asia since the start to his solo singing career in 2002. He has also expanded his career into acting, playing several small screen roles such as "Sang Doo! Let's Go to School" and "Full House."

He then made his Hollywood debut in 2008, through the Wachowski Brothers' action pic "Speed Racer" and landed the lead role in martial arts film "Ninja Assassin" a year later.
