SHINee to unveil teaser video today

Korean idols SHINee will be revealing a teaser video for their upcoming studio release today, according to their agency SM Entertainment on Friday.

SM announced in a press release that the boys will unveil the video for their second full-length album "LUCIFER" on their official webpage, portal site Naver and online shopping website Auction later tonight.

The Flow-Mo technique, where 120 cameras shoot a total 12,000 frames per second, 100 frames for each camera, was incorporated into filming the teaser clip.

"LUCIFER," containing 13 songs, will simultaneously go on sale on web-based music sites and music stores on July 19.

The title track, of the same name as the album, is based on Electronica music from the 80s but is composed of more contemporary urban elements. It sings of a man complaining to his lover that she is like a Lucifer, almost switching between an angel and a demon as she repeats making threats and being appeasing.

SHINee member Onew and Jonghyun took part in writing lyrics for the album this time -- songs "Your Name" and "Swear," respectively.

Famed producer Hitchhiker, who wrote Brown Eyed Girl's hit tune "Abracadabra," contributed songs "Electric Heart" and "UP & DOWN" for the album while Kenzi, who composed "Love Should Go On" from SHINee's first album, produced R&B ballad track "Love Still Goes On."

Just yesterday, SM had revealed a medley highlighting the songs from the record as well as unveiling a series of teaser photos of each member donning their new images starting last Thursday.

SHINee, also composed of other members Minho, Key and Taemin, made their debut in 2008 with their first mini-album "Replay." They have several hit songs under their belt including "Older Girl, You're So Pretty," "Juliette" and "Ring Ding Dong."

They are set to give their comeback performance on KBS' televised music show "Music Bank" on July 23.
