Norwegian folk band Kings of Convenience will be visiting Korea for a concert in April, according to concert promoter Private Curve.
Private Curve announced that the folk pop duo will be performing at Seoul's Olympic Park Olympic Hall on April 4 to promote their latest album "Declaration Of Dependence", their first record release in five years.
They had previously visited Seoul in April 2008, giving two concerts at Yonsei University.
Formed in Bergen, Norway, Kings of Convenience is made up of Erlend Øye and Eirik Glambek Bøe who both sing and write their songs.
They made their debut in 2001 with the album "Quiet Is The New Loud" and later released a remix album titled "Versus" (2001) and their second album "Riot On A Empty Street" (2004).
Some of their best-known hits include "Stay Out Of Trouble" and "I’d Rather Dance With You", which was used in Korean television dramas and commercials starring Hallyu stars Hyun Bin and Zo In-sung.

Critics have compared the group to legendary folk duo Simon and Garfunkel and modern folk band Belle & Sebastian.
Tickets for the Seoul concerts will be available on Interpark website starting February 26, 12 p.m.
