Harim and puppies on "Director's Cut"

On the set of music cable channel Mnet's reality show

The set for "Director's Cut" becomes complete as Harim walks into Cafe dd-da. This is the location for the reality show on the music cable channel where the cast become the producers and create their own background music for their self-shot mini documentaries.

As Harim and singer-songerwriter Yoon Jong-shin start making jokes at each other, a corner of the cafe suddenly becomes noisy. Idol group Brown Eyed Girls member Miryo who discovers a pair of pomeranian puppies at the cafe cannot stop exclaiming "They're so cute!" and another member of the hit group, Jea, follows them around while calling them "Hara" after realizing they look like girl group Kara member Gu Hara. In the meantime, the real Hara displays her utmost friendliness and starts engaging in deep conversation with the owner of the cafe about the history of the puppies. "Oh, they're two and a half years old? I used to have a puppy too."

But there is no need for a particular sign to bring all the noise to a halt, not even the common sound of a slate. As Jea starts singing "Harlem Blues" from film "Mo' Better Blues" on the piano, Harim takes out his harmonica and Yoon Jong-shin grabs his guitar. The crew silently starts recording this natural synergy on their cameras. And as the song ends, the singers toss about jokes and start chatting away. The next moment, Gu Hara is singing and Jea will play the piano for her or when they start singing a medley of Park Jung-hyun's songs, a member of the crew will silently write down lyrics of several of her songs and hand them over to the artists. There is no doubt that the time has been spent well and contains the warmth of a special winter night but how on earth will the producer edit all this great video? We will just have to wait for "Director's Cut".
