Winners of the Busan Film Critics Association Awards cut a cake at the Novotel Ambassador Hotel in Busan, South Korea on October 9, 2009. Actress Kim Hye-ja and Ha Jung-woo won the awards for Best Actress and Best Actor, respectively, while actors So Ji-sub and Kang Ji-hwan both won the awards for Best New Actor. The awards ceremony takes place in time with the annual Pusan International Film Festival (PIFF), one of the largest film gatherings in Asia, which will be held from October 8 to 16 this year.
