K-pop singer Kim Tae-woo has topped the Korean music chart for the second consecutive week.

The singer's recent single "Love Rain" took the No. 1 spot on KBS2 music show "Music Bank" held on Friday, beating out Park Hyo-shin, T-ara and Choshinsung for the title.

"I thank you from the bottom of my heart," the 28-year-old singer said in his acceptance speech. "I thank everyone who has been with me for the past ten years."

The song first reached No.1 the previous week, according to results released by Music Bank producers on September 6, but the show did not air due to Chuseok holiday specials.

Kim, formerly the lead singer of popular Korean boy band G.O.D., released his first solo album "Solo Special" in 2006. "Rain" is the first single from "T-Virus", his comeback album since completing Korea's mandatory military service in May.
