Rain to appear on CNN Talk Asia

Korean singer and actor Rain is set to appear on CNN's Talk Asia, according to the broadcaster's official website on Tuesday.

The show will feature an interview with the singer who will answer various questions including those asked by fans posted on CNN's website. He last appeared on the program in 2005 for an interview with Lorraine Hahn.

Rain started his career with JYP Entertainment, a major talent agency in South Korea that manages many idol groups and K-pop artists. He left the agency in November 2007 to start his own entertainment company J. Tune Entertainment.

He has released several albums in Korea and starred in several TV dramas, most notably "Full House" and "Sang Doo! Let's Go To School."

The 27-year-old star debuted in Hollywood last year with a supporting role in "Speed Racer" and will star in the upcoming "Ninja Assassin", which will open worldwide in November.
