2nd lineup of artists unveiled for Pentaport Rock Festival

The second lineup of artists for the annual Pentaport Rock Festival in Korea have been unveiled, according to the official website of the music fest.

On Thursday, Pentaport's webpage revealed that English indie pop The Ting Tings, Korean rock band Boohwal, Big Bang duo unit GD&T.O.P, Big Bang member Taeyang, Korean indie groups Wonderbird, The Black Skirts, Linus' Blanket and Super8Beat will perform at Incheon's Dream Park from August 5 to 7.

The festival will also feature performances by rookie artists including Bye Bye Badman, Boni, Eastern side kick, Jambinai and Choi Go-eun.

The Ting Tings, composed of Jules De Martino and Katie White, formed in December 2007 and released four singles under Columbia Records. They have a number of hit songs including "That's Not My Name," "Hands" and "Shut Up and Let Me Go."

Pentaport Rock Festival, sponsored by the city of Incheon, first began in 2006 and received its name from Incheon city's strategy to develop further in the areas of airport, seaport, teleport, business-port and leisure-port.

Tickets for the rock festival is currently available on various online shopping websites, while the third lineup will be announced at a later date.
