"Seon-deok" remains atop TV ratings

MBC's historical drama "Queen Seok-deok" has topped Korea's TV ratings chart for the sixth consecutive week, according to a survey on Monday.

The viewership rating for the Monday and Tuesday night TV series during the week of November 16 to 22 was 40 percent, according to statistics released by TNS Media Korea.

Next on the chart was KBS2 TV's blockbuster drama "Iris," starring Lee Byung-hun and Kim Tae-hee with a 32.7 percent rating, followed by daily drama "Jolly Widows" (KBS1) which reached ratings of 30.3 percent.

In the non-drama category, KBS variety show "Happy Sunday" ranked first with a 24.7 percent rating. SBS's "Family Outing" and KBS2 TV's "Gag Concert" trailed behind with ratings of 22 and 20.3 percent, respectively.
