Park Bom to sing new song live on "YG ON AIR"
YG Entertainment has revealed that girl group 2NE1 member Park Bom will be singing her solo song "DON'T CRY" on YG's newly created Internet broadcaster "YG ON AIR."
Starting earlier this week, YG had stirred fans' curiosity with the possibility of getting to see the singer give a live performance of the current chart-topper after having declared the singer will not promote the song on television.
Then a message posted on YG's official blog YG Life stated today that fans will be able to watch Park sing her song live through "YG ON AIR" at 6:05 p.m. tomorrow.
Park's bandmates at 2NE1 and boy band Big Bang will host tomorrow's session in the form of a radio show, which will enable fans to communicate directly and real-time with the artists at YG, the message explained.
YG then explained more about "YG ON AIR," saying there will be no set format for the content they show, other than it being the window for delivering various forms of video to fans, including music videos and behind-the-scenes clips for concerts.
Fans overseas will be able to enjoy the channel as well since subtitles will be provided through YG Life and YG's YouTube channel.
YG added that it has yet to fix a regular day for its broadcasts but next Friday, 2NE1 will perform a group version of Park's solo song "DON"T CRY."
