4minute rejoices win on Mnet's "M! CountDown"

Girl group 4minute burst into tears of joy after declared the winner on music cable network Mnet’s live show “M! CountDown” on Thursday.

The girl group was honored with this week’s trophy for “M! CountDown” with their latest song “Mirror Mirror” which is the title track to their first regular album “4MINUTES LEFT” released this month.

Big Bang’s “LOVE SONG” came second and Rainbow’s “To Me” at third.

Shedding tears of joy the girl group donned in red mini-dresses that day, expressed gratitude to their agency, fans, family and friends, with youngest member Kwon So-hyun in particular, crying out to the audience repeatedly, “Thank you, thank you so much!”

“Mirror Mirror” is a powerful dance number about a girl who continues to reflect on her looks in the mirror and ponder on her crush, based on the motif from the fairy tale “Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs.”

Other singers that appeared on the same stage that day were girl group A PINK who gave their debut performance as well as Clover, Rainbow, Black B, Handsome People, Lee Hyun, Goeun, Ye Ara, Jung In, Tony An, Yangpa, Wheesung, Brian, CNBLUE, Girls Days and Na Yoon-kwon.

4minute, composed of other members Hyun-a, Ji-hyun, Ji-yoon and Ga-yoon, splashed into the local music scene with their debut single "Hot Issue" in 2009 and has enjoyed success in several Asian countries including Taiwan and the Philippines with their mini-album "For Muzik" and later became the first K-pop girl group to branch out into the Japanese market in early May last year.
